  7. STS-31R - On-board Scene - The huge Hubble Space Telescope 
  8. (HST), backdropped against the Bolivian, Chilean and Peruvian 
  9. topography some 332 nautical miles away, and the Space 
  10. Shuttle Discovery, represented in this scene by its Remote 
  11. Manipulator System (RMS) arm, begin their relative separation 
  12. in space.  The chalk-colored feature directly beneath HST is 
  13. called Salar de Uyuni.  Lake Titicaca is in upper right, and 
  14. Lake Fuopo is under partial cloud cover near the RMS's end 
  15. effector.  The photograph, one of the first eight STS-31R 
  16. on-board frames to be released by NASA, was taken with a 
  17. hand held Hasselblad camera by one of the five busy 
  18. crew-members in Discovery's cabin.
  19.
